What is Shared Branching?
Shared Branching is a national network of credit unions from all over the country that share facilities to give members thousands of convenient locations to perform financial transactions.
Cardinal Credit Union is part of the CO-OP Shared Branch Network. Members can access their accounts or perform basic transactions at thousands of credit union branches in all 50 states.
Available transactions include:
- Cash Deposits and Withdrawals
- Check Deposits with Holds
- Check Cashing with Holds
- Transfers
- Loan Payments
- Printed Statements
- Phone Access to Home Credit Union
Our check holds will prevail on all Cardinal transactions done in a shared branch.
Cardinal is what is known as an Issuing Credit Union. This means that while our members can access their accounts at other credit unions, at this time we cannot serve members from other credit unions.
