Celebrating its 60th anniversary, the Lake County Development Council on Oct. 26 hosted about 600 attendees and honored 60 local companies, organizations and/or events that have played pivotal roles in shaping economic prosperity in the area. Kirk Stonebrook, executive director of the Lake County Development Council, congratulated Cardinal Credit Union as a Top 60 Economic Drivers winner and expressed appreciation for the “extraordinary” companies moving Lake County forward.

RoyalView Elementary Cardinal donated 100 colorful backpacks replete with school supplies to students at Royalview Elementary School. The school is located within the Willoughby Eastlake City Schools District footprint along with Northern Career Institute, our financial literacy education partner. Skipper, the Lake County Captains mascot was on hand, along with Christine Blake, Cardinal’s CEO, and various WES administrators, to help distribute the gifts.
