The Ohio General Assembly adopted a legislation to create the “holiday” for this weekend. In future years, the sales tax exemption period will also occur on the first weekend of each August. Today we are celebrating the promotion of Megan Berkman – the new Ashtabula Branch Manager. The Ashtabula branch is located at 625 Lake Avenue. The contest by the small business group Independent We Standrecognized Bridge Street in Ashtabula, in the northeast corner of Ohio, above 302 other entries, including Cleveland Heights’ Cedar-Lee area.
